ArmInfo.Vigen Sargsyan, the Armenian Defence Minister , started his visit to Russia with the meetings with commander staff of Southern Military District, because he is concerned about the penetration of terrorist groups in Armenia, trying cut that possibility, turkologist Hakob Chakryan said answering the question of ArmInfo reporter.
He is confident that terrorist groups acting in Syria still remain as a serious problem for Russia and for whole the world. Moreover, after the Russian cannonade, they are hostile to Russia. "There is a practice existing, when, if it is impossible to punish a powerful country, its weaker ally is punished. I think Sargsyan is concerned exactly about that," the expert accentuated. At that, he considers that the ISIS members having Russian or other CIS country citizen ship, will leave the Syria.
Chakryan also thinks that Armenian-Russian cooperation is not to be compared with Turkish- Russian relations. They have different logics. Menawhle, the interests of Russia and Armenia are the same in respect to Syrian and other regional problems.
