Baku. Azerbaijan has recently received new proposals from the partners of the Nabucco consortium, a source from the consortium, whish is in charge of development of Shah-Deniz gas condensate field, told Turan.
The new proposals are related mainly to change of the pipeline's length. "If previously it was planned to start construction of the pipeline on the east of Turkey, in the updated version the pipeline begins from the Turkish-Bulgarian border and end in the Austarian has gub Baumgarten," the same source said.
The updated version of the Nabucco project was called the Nabucco-West.
The Shah-Deniz consortium admitted that the updated version of Nabucco has "many issues, which need to be studied in details and this will take some time."
The proposal could be interpreted as the EU appeal to unite the Trans Anadolu project with the part of Nabucco, which has been offered a while ago.
